Admission Eligibility Criteria

To ensure a smooth and fair admission process, Terna Vidyalaya follows basic eligibility guidelines as per the Maharashtra State Board norms. Parents are requested to check the age and academic requirements before applying for admission.

Pre-Primary Section

  • Nursery: As per the age criteria decided by the school and State Board guidelines.
  • Junior KG (Jr. KG): The child should meet the required age criteria and have completed Nursery or equivalent.
  • Senior KG (Sr. KG): The child should have completed Junior KG or an equivalent level from a recognized institution.

Primary School (Grades 1 to 5)

  • The student should have successfully completed the previous class from a recognized school.
  • Age should be appropriate for the respective grade as per school and State Board norms.

Secondary School (Grades 6 to 10)

  • The student must have passed the previous class from a recognized school.
  • Transfer from another school should be supported with valid school records and documents.

Junior College (Grades 11 and 12)

  • The student must have passed the SSC (Class 10) examination from a recognized board.
  • Admission will be granted as per merit, availability of seats, and the rules of the Maharashtra State Board.

Documents Required for Admission

Parents are requested to submit the following documents at the time of admission:

  • Birth Certificate of the student
  • Previous School Leaving Certificate (LC / TC), if applicable
  • Previous year’s Report Card / Marksheet
  • Aadhar Card copy of the student and parent/guardian
  • Passport-size photographs of the student
  • Caste Certificate and Caste Validity (if applicable, as per government rules)
  • Any other documents required by the school or education authorities

Important Note

  • All documents should be genuine and correct.
  • Submission of required documents is mandatory for confirmation of admission.
  • The school reserves the right to verify documents and take the final decision regarding admission.
  • Incomplete applications or missing documents may lead to delay or cancellation of admission.
